Grounds for Sculpture - Impressions (part 4)

An unexpected feature at the Grounds for Sculpture was the larger than life sculptures of familiar impressionist paintings. The one above is Renoir's "Dance at Bougival" in motion, as the artist himself is sculpted painting it! For reference, here is the original:

In a similar vein, Manet's shock inducing (back in the 1860's!) Olympia is brought to life fantastically on a man-made hill by the American sculptor, Seward Johnson.

I love the sculpted black cat with its arched back looking on.  For reference, here's Manet's original:
